Shen Heting gave speech on "Bilateral Cooperation in Resources and Infrastructure in WA"

Mr. Shen Heting, the Vice Chairman of China Metallurgical Group Corporation, the President of Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd., attended the "Bilateral Cooperation in Resources and Infrastructure in West Australia" Conference and gave the speech titled the "Australia resource investment: Cooperation and multi-benefits" on the 23rd of July 2009.

Firstly, Chairman Shen introduced the overall status of China Metallurgical Group Corporation and current status of MCC's mining resource development projects and the mining project construction. Then he introduced and analysed the potential risks in international mining resource investment and the problems that MCC met in the practical operation of the on-going West Australian projects. Finally, Chairman Shen proposed some expectations to the WA government and expressed that MCC will strengthen the cooperation with relevant Australian companies in depth in the future.

Chairman Shen's speech gained all the attendees' ardent applauses. Mr. Zou Weimin, the Chairman and General Manager of MCC Overseas Ltd., attended the conference accompanying with Mr. Shen and gave admirable answers in the Q&A section.
